Nuevo Communications is a leading wholesale service provider offering a suite applications that exploit the rapid deployment of WiFi, cellular and IP systems.
Nuevo's suite of applications enables customers to achieve a quick positive Return On Investment (ROI), increase Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) and help reduce customer churn.
Nuevo maintains its telecommunications equipment at its redundant Network Operations Center (NOC) with access to all major carriers. The NOC is located in the the telecommunications hub of the Pacific Northwest in downtown Seattle : the Westin Building. The facility maintains the highest earthquake standard and is supplied by redundant city power grid sources; all power feeds are essential power configurations backed up by generator services. In addition, The Westin Building is configured for service by mobile trailer-based generators in the event of an emergency.
Our facilities include integrated VoIP, PSTN, wireless switching platforms, conferencing and speech ports, billing, and network/application management tools used to support hosted applications.
MANAGING MEMBER
Nuevo Communications' founder, Mr. Robert L. Hernandez, was an essential member of the software development team at XCOM Technologies that helped revolutionize the telecommunications industry with the introduction of the world's first softswitch application and patent. He was instrumental in the development and deployment of the managed-modem product based on the patented softswitch technology while acting as Director, Softswitch Services at Level(3) Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: LVLT), post acquisition of XCOM Technologies.
In addition, Mr. Hernandez continues to contribute as a consultant to various start-up companies in technology areas that include speech recognition, Sandcherry, Inc., VoIP, Volo Communications, Inc. acquired by VoIP, Inc. (VOII.OB), and cellular/wireless communications and technology. Robert holds a Master of Science degree from Boston University.
